Detection of bioactive compounds and amino acids from fruiting bodies of Morchella tridentina

Morels are well known due to their nutritional and food value since ancient human history. In this study, biochemical proteomic analyses were carried out on the ascocarp of Morchella tridentina Bres. For this, several M. collected from different sites Neelum Valley Azad Jammu Kashmir, Pakistan. Identification was confirmed by phylogenetic sequencing using nuclear ribosomal DNA bar-coding technique along with morph-anatomical analysis. During analysis, bioactive compounds used in drugs treat cancer, heart diseases, edema (veprisinium, visnagin, bumetanide), breast cancer (petunidin) identified. Cerulinin, daidzein, guanthidin okanin (imperative compounds) also detected. Furthermore, protein analysis FTICR/MS/Orbitrap revealed presence 921 proteins belonging 171 groups having 165 unique peptide sequences. The study shows that morel could be as a source substances develop anticancer, antifungal, antiviral future. This fruitful addition Mycota Pakistan increases number morels three.
